The Horse Hamper offers convenient equine laundry services right here in West Tennessee. No more late-nights at the laundromat getting dirty rugs ready for winter or insane shipping fees to send them out of state. The Horse Hamper will carefully wash, reproof and repair your horse blankets. This not only extends the life of your equipment, but frees you up for other barn duties and saddle time.
We’re currently scheduling barn pickups for November laundering.
SERVICES AND PRICES:

BLANKET WASH ($17-22) – includes pre-wash, wash with rug-safe soap, extra rinse and line-drying.

BLANKET REPROOF ($15) – special attention to seams, repaired areas and bindings, includes water-resistance test after blanket dries.

BLANKET REPAIR (INDIVIDUALLY PRICED) – with high-quality materials and parts. An estimate of charges will be made before work begins and you’ll be contacted to approve repairs totaling over $20.

DELIVERY/PICKUP – FREE WITH MINIMUM OF 12 BLANKETS AND WITHIN 20 MILES OF JACKSON, TN. CONTACT US FOR OTHER MINIMUMS/DISTANCES

Typical turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. All blankets are line-dried so weather may affect turnaround – rain and humidity will increase the processing time. If you need blankets by a specific date, please make a note on the order form and let us know at pickup.

Any blanket being reproofed or repaired, must be washed first.

Payment is due in full when your blankets are delivered. ONLY cash and checks are accepted. An agreed-upon day/time will be scheduled to return your blankets. Additional charges will apply if multiple trips become necessary.

One last thing….If you have damaged blankets that you won’t be using any longer, please consider allowing them to be recycled. Old blankets can be turned into pony or foal blankets, dog jackets and beds for other critters. As time allows, we’ll make alterations or repairs to your donated blankets and then give the new creations to area rescues, non-profits or others in need. Thank you!
